Medium Sterling Silver Ammonite Pendant
Ammonites are invertebrates and modern members include the Nautilus Squid,
Cuttlefish an Octopus. The name “Ammonite” is from the name of the Ancient Egyptian
of Ammon who believed these creatures to be divine. Ammon is represented in ancient
literature by the head of a Ram with twisted spiral horns, that are like the Ammonites
spiral shell.
